Somewhat of a counterpoint to the porcine Descartes who says in a cartoon "I stink, therefore I am".

That's a wonderful intuitive and witty insight, Rambodoc. Descartes placed the foundations of modern Western philosophy squarely on our intellectual reactions to reality, didn't he?
