Why Bush Sees Life As Black And White?

It's pretty clear the President sees the world in black and white terms. But why?

Perhaps it has something to do with all the years he abused alcohol.

That, at least, is the guess of my therapist, Arun. Arun does not believe everyone fully recovers from years of alcohol abuse. He tells me that past a certain point, the damage done to the brain appears to be only partly reversible. Moreover, Arun believes George Bush shows several symptoms of having abused alcohol, among them a marked tendency to see the world in black and white terms.

If alcohol abuse can leave you permanently brain damaged, that might go far to explain a lot about the President, don't ya think?

Don't forget he abused cocaine (and possibly other illicit drugs) in his younger days in addition to his alcoholism. What a great President!

Your therapist is probably right. Take a look at the SPECT brain scans of long-standing alcohol abuse. (scroll down a bit)

OMG, DOF! If Bush's brain looks anything like those scans, it sure would explain a lot about his powers of concentration, etc. He's just not working with a full load.

You're therapist is Indian! That's sweet and probably not unexpected.

Thanks for the brain scans DOF.

Hi Ashwin! Arun was born and raised in India, and took his degrees here in the States. By all accounts, he's among the very best therapists in Colorado Springs, were I live, and I feel very fortunate that he and I have the rapport we do.

Hi Brendon! It's amazing Bush even has enough brains left to take Cheney's orders.
