Asking the Right Questions

One of my instructors that worked for Fortune 100 companies as a consultant said, "To get to the actual problem you have to ask the 5 W's. Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?" If they state the problem is "x", you just keep asking why till you get to the real problem.

Giving the "right" answers is actually incredibly easy. You just pick an answer and call it "right." Having the "right" answer is, of course, the opposite of asking a question. In fact, having the "right" answer forecloses even asking the question.

Life grows out of the questions, not the answers. When we fix our gaze on the answers, we die a little bit.
