Thanksgiving is a feast day set aside to thank the Judeo-Christian god, or any god you want to thank, for one's blessings in life.
I don't have any god to give thanks to, but that doesn't stop me from feeling gratitude for my friends and family, and my many other blessings. (Not that I don't feel that way most days!)
It's my favorite holiday these days because I get to spend much of it feasting with my two closest friends!
Happy Thanksgiving, Gary!
