Training Wheels
"I see the moral code like a set of training wheels: they show you how to ride but eventually you have to give them up."
What exactly does this point to? That eventually the code becomes part of our actions such that we don't have to think as to what is right and wrong - we simply just do?
Or that eventually, we realize there is no such thing as right and wrong?
